iLifeControls

Thursday, 3 April 2008

While this isn’t exactly a new set of controls, I have decided to put my iLifeControls back online. This code isn’t really useful anymore, given that most of the controls are now standard in Leopard, but I’ll keep it online for historical purposes and for anyone that needs to replicate this appearance under Mac OS X Tiger. There are several bugs and plenty of slow areas, so anyone looking to use this framework in a performance application will definitely have to give the code a good reworking.

That being said, onward to new controls and resolution independence!

Inaugural Post, Rev 2

Wednesday, 2 April 2008

After months of being away, I’m finally bringing my weblog back online. In the coming weeks, I’ll be posting some (hopefully) interesting pieces of source code ranging from custom UI controls to code documenting utilities. Assuming I don’t get too tied up at school, I should be posting a new control before Friday, which will look something like this:

Also: Henceforth, all UI controls I release will be 100% resolution independent.
